Day 133: Barn Swallow

Last weekend, we saw a bunch of cute Barn Swallows nesting under a building. Barn Swallows are the most widespread species of swallows in the world. They can be found in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Barns Swallows are blue on top with a red forehead, chin, and throat. They also have a white underbelly. Their outer tail feathers are elongated, giving the distinctive deeply forked "swallow tail."
